Description
Perspective is problematic when one is in an unfamiliar, if not foregin place. The Metro ride to Tre Fontane was not all that long. Certainly it was not as long as the triple time walk from the Metro station to Tre Fontane itself! I could not have told you which direction the Metro was headed in when we left for this big deal Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls. It really is a big place with ornate everything. What I liked most about it was the series of stained glass windows in an after thought (and mostly in the dark) side wing of the primary chamber. My son called them ‘organic’ referring to their structure & design. They were. I thought them unique, and that is saying something in Rome.
